Earlier this month I was in Miami for two weeks lecturing and teaching three workshops at Studio ADO13. I taught one Beauty, one Fashion Editorial and a “See the Light ” class. I will have stills & Video of the first two workshops soon I hope. On my only night out in downtown Miami after dinner and just walking around I stumbled across a group of Break-dancers. These guys were amazing, I just had to shoot them. So after they finished their set I handed out some of my business cards and explained who I was and what I was doing in Miami and I invited them to my ” See the light ” workshop. Luckily for me they accepted and three of the dancers showed up two days later.
They did all kinds of crazy jumps and flips which was all perfect movement for the final day of the WS. I had a five light set up and everyone had a chance to photograph the dancers. Here are some of my selections with the dance crew.
