I am excited to share this week’s news! Up Magazine for whom I regularly contribute with, has just been awarded Europe’s Leading Inflight Magazine 2015 by World Travel Awards which are the Oscars of the travel industry. So I am exceptionally happy to have photographed this massive feature on one of Portugal’s most amazing regions the Alenteijo for the August issue.
Not only am I excited about this huge twenty six page feature, with some cool arial images and some great action shots, I am also very excited because this was the first comercial test with the Fuji XT-1 camera. I had received my Fuji in between a eight day shoot for Up magazine, so naturally I took both my Canon Kit and the Fuji Kit, I figured I would shoot 80% Canon and 20 % Fuji. I have to say that by the 2nd day of the press trip, I was already using the Fuji XT-1 80% more of the time because of its small compact size and huge LCD made for some interesting images.
