Lost Brides with SMDV BRiHT-360 by João Carlos

For many their wedding day is one of the most special days in their life, but for some it turns out a tragedy. In this project I created three different brides each with her own story and went to the gorgeous woods of Peninha, Sintra to share their story.

Our model for this project was the talented Kiia from Best Models and the make-up was done by my friend and partner Alex Me.

To help bring this story to life I used SMDV BRiHT-360 of camera flash with a SMDV speedbox-70 and a SMDV BR-300 beautydish with and without honeycomb and shot everything with Canon 5D Mark III.

For this first shot we found a nice spot to create this flower bed an lit it up with SMDV BRiHT-360 of camera flash with a SMDV speedbox-70 and SMDV BRiHT-360 of camera flash with SMDV BR-300 beautydish both on a boomstick.

I used a SMDV BRiHT-360 of camera flash with a SMDV speedbox-70 on a boompole and a SMDV BRiHT-360 with SMDV BR-300 beautydish and honey comb

For this second shot I used a SMDV BRiHT-360 of camera flash with a SMDV speedbox-70 on a boompole and a SMDV BRiHT-360 with SMDV BR-300 beautydish and honey comb. I also used a Profoto B2 with a red gel inside the wood hut behind her but the photos with it weren’t chosen, still you can see the efect in the last photo.

For the last set I used one SMDV BRiHT-360 with a BR-300 beautydish as my main light next to me and a SMDV BRiHT-360 with the Speedbox-70 and SMDV BRiHT-360 with difuser to light the background.
