Ola everyone if you have been following my blog lately you noticed that I have been super busy over the last couple of months , between the teaching , traveling and proper commissioned work .In realty this leaves me very little time to connect with friends and colleagues . So when this time a year rolls around , I like to take advantage the best I can to reconnect . The Perfect spot to do so is during Photo Expo Plus , unfortunately I was no able to attend last year ( lucky me I was over the pond lecturing at the Hasselblad UK studio) .
This Year I could not let that opportunity pass , so although I don’t have my entire schedule planned, I do have a idea , off course if you are there and want to meet up please shoot me out a email or give me a ring .
I have some great news , I have teamed up with the amazing folks at BLACKRAPID and will be giving away some fabulous R- straps, I have RS-4 , RS-Sport ,RS-W1B to give away at certain points of the day in certain locations ( more details on time and places soon ) If you by chance see me at the BLACKRAPID Booth # 345 hit me up .
I have also been invited by Unique Photo to speak , My lecture “ The Beauty is in the Light ” will cover array of lighting examples and everything you need to know about lighting for Beauty and Fashion in the real commercial and editorial publishing worlds . These lectures will act as a sneak preview to the class I will be giving on Nov 6 at Unique University in Fairfeild New Jersey .
Stop by the Unique Photo Booth #646 at PDN’s PhotoPlus International Convention and Expo from October 27th – 29th at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC! Several renowned photographers will be coming to there booth to speak on a variety of different topics across all three days!
I will also be making a visit to SHOOT NYC and Hasselblad Masters Gallery: I am excited to be a member of this years Masters Jury ( read about that here ) so this will give me a chance to see alot of the work in person and possibly meet some of the authors.
The Hasselblad Masters Award is one of the most prestigious awards in the photographic industry, each year celebrating the best in both established and rising photographic talent.
