I am super excited to share this editorial I made for the second issue of Judas Magazine.

“Postcards from Lisbon” is a satire of the world dominated by social media and virtual following.

To make this idea work we transformed Vera Cardoso from Karacter agency into a Urban princess, Mauro Goncalves styled her to have bold and extravagant looks while Sara Marques de Oliveira did her make;up magic using bright colors and harsh lines. We searched some back allays of Lisbon to find some spots that gave us a decadent look.

It was the fist time I used the SMDV Brith-360 and decided to take a simple two light kit but later decides to use just one strobe on a boon with the BR 300 Beautydish.

I shoot it all with the Fuji X-T2.

For the fist time I worked with the SMDV Brith-360 I was really impressed with it. It is very light weighting around 1 kg and comes with a carrying case that makes it really easy to transport and keep safe, this make it ideal for photographers on the go.

The batteries last a long time, we shot a whole afternoon with just one battery . . Each battery comes with a lcd display that show the percentage of charge it has. The charging time is fast, in under two hours the batteries were fully charged.

The SMDV Brith-360 turned out to be a very intuitive and fast strobe to set up. This is ideal to save time while photographing or changing light settings.
