Throughout the history of Lisbon three things stand as tradition: fishing at the Tagus river, the painted tiles and sidewalks and Fado. To this day you can still ear the mournful and melancholic sound of Fado almost every night in the Lisbon night.

We went to The tile museum in Lisbon with the talented Cláudia Leal to shoot their catalog.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”13215″ img_size=”medium”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

For the first shoot we took advantage of the natural light to create a light and clean feel and used a SMDV BRiHT-360 with a SMDV Speedbox-70 on a Boom to better define our model and used a Triflector to shape our light.

We continued inside the Museum and kept using a SMDV BRiHT-360 with a SMDV Speedbox-70 on a Boom and a triflector to shape the light on our model and used a SMDV BriHT-360 with a SMDV BR-300 Beautydish to light the tiles on the background.

I loved the row of columns in this place and to took advantage of them we used two SMDV BRiHT-360 one with the SMDV Speedbox-70 and other with the SMDV BR-300 Beautydish to light the tiles behind Cláudia. I set my 3 legged things Albert and shoot trough the columns.

The light was beautiful that day so we let it light our model and foreground. I had my assistant shape the light on Cláudia with a Omega reflector by Westcott.

Another simple set up using natural light, a SMDV BRiHT-360 with a SMDV Speedbox-70 on a Boom and a Triflector to shape the light on our model.

For this shoot we had windows behind us that lit the model an used a SMDV BRiHT-360 with a SMDV Speedbox-70 on a Boom and used the Triflector on her side to shape the light

To light this shoot I used a SMDV BRiHT-360 with a SMDV Speedbox-70 and a Triflector to shape the light.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

We decided to use Cláudia’s Portuguese guitar which gave special feel to the final result. We used two SMDV BRiHT-360 one with the SMDV Speedbox-70 and the other with the SMDV BR-300 Beautydish. We also used a triflector to bouce the light from a nearby window.

We went outside for the last photos of the day. and shot this one taking advantage of the natural light and used a SMDV BRiHT-360 with a SMDV Speedbox-70 on a Boom to make Cláudia stand out.

For the last shot of the day we went to the steps of a nearby church. We let the natural light make its magic and used a SMDV BRiHT-360 with a SMDV Speedbox-70 to make Cláudia pop.
