“European Professional Photographer of the year 2022“ Finalist in Beauty/Fashion and The Digital Creations Categories

When you receive an email from the CEO of the European Federation of Professional Photographers,

“Congratulations on your excellent achievement, you are a finalist in the FEP Awards 2022 FASHION & BEAUTY categories and a little while later you receive another email saying Congratulations on your excellent achievement, you are a finalist in the FEP Awards 2022 DIGITAL CREATED IMAGES category “

The FEP Awards are the largest and most acclaimed photography event at the European level, with 12 competition categories, This is my third year as a top 10 finalist and my second year in a row as a top 10 in two independent categories.

What an amazing last week it has been, I just arrived back from Rome Italy and from the European Photographer of the Year Awards Organised by the @federationeuropean, ( I am a little late with this post ), but I had to post about this special moment in my career.

This year I was a finalist in two different categories for the third year in a row, taking 8th place in the fashion & beauty category and 5th place in the digital created categories, I’m so happy and very grateful to all my amazing clients who trust me, most of this year’s work was for clients so it’s super satisfying being able to create this type of artwork, I must thank my creative teams, hairstylists, models, designers, and stylists, my make up artists and my Assistant Petko Angelov who has been a huge part of these achievements over the last three years, I also need to thank the brands that support me and that I’m am Ambassador for, your gear help me create and expand my creativity every day and a big thanks to my community of photographers and friends who believe in me and help me grow.

I was one of the international speakers at the @wpcitalia @worldphotographiccup event also in Rome. It was a huge honor to share the stage with the incredible Ben shirk photography. Below are some of my awarded images.

The best part of the trip to Rome, wasn’t the awards I won, or the amazing Pizza, the best of my Rome trip was meeting up after two years with some of my photo friends, like fellow Koylab ambassador Vicente Esteban

Andre Boto and Miguel Ponte, Congratulations on all of your awesome achievements, it was also awesome! To hang out with Luis Godinho or Mario Monteiro has amazing results, my friends.

The best part of my trip was meeting the talented and beautiful Rais De Weirdt and making new friendships worldwide.

I have to thank @federationeuropean this is the official photo of the representatives of each country and it has been a true honor doing my part for Portugal on an international level over the last two years.
